Reflection for me, is a time to further understand the
nature of my life. I look back as a way to examine and
refine my actions in order to coax myself into a more
balanced
space. Looking back over the past ten years is
something I do each decade of my life as a way of
bringing myself back to the path on a grand scale. So
as I look back it is your face in my minds eye that
illumines my spirit. I see your face with open
acceptance to
a discipline that is not always easy. I see the light
within you as the way of the yogi begins to unfold. I
see your generosity as I ask of
you to support causes which are dear to me - children,
the environment. I am eternally
grateful for the loyalty you display which allows me to
practice my dharma. As my boss you have never
denied me a day of rest but openly encourage me to
take the time . . . "you deserve it", you tell me. How do
I deserve such love? Thank you, students. With much
love and gratitude on my fifth decade.
Follow effective action with quiet reflection. From the
quiet reflection will come even more effective action.
