I am of the nature to grow old . . . I am of the nature to
have ill health . . .I am of the nature to die . . . All that is
dear to me and everyone I love are of the nature to
change . . . My only true belongings are my actions. I
shared Budha's five rememberences with the
intensive class but believe strongly, we all can be
reminded of the difference between our attachment to
people or things and the beauty of our eternal self.
There is a beauty, we all can connect with. The beauty
we feel when we are in a plane of consciousness, not
involved with our attachments to our societal roles or
obligations. A beauty that is so profound and
peaceful, it transcends space and time. May this
peace
be yours eternally.
When one perceives impermanence, the perception of
no-self is established. With the perception of no-self,
the conceit of 'I' is eliminated . . . this is nirvana here
and now. ( Budha)
