I AM GRATEFUL FOR . . . I frequently reflect on the beauty of my life with yoga in it. Reflections which include the opportunity to teach in an environment of loving kindness and support. During the last 3 years we have grown from 3 classes a week to 30, seen our workshops inspire and educate, practiced yoga on the beach, karma yoga and looked at yoga through the eyes of wonderful young souls. The Haven has become a place where our intensives provide the canvas for those willing to explore more of what yoga offers. Our community has traveled to retreats in Costa Rica and Mexico where we as a community enjoyed being at peace and one in these beautiful settings. I can only aspire to give as you have given to me, this wonderful life full of yoga, love and community. On our third anniversary I am offering 1 free personal session to the person chosen at the end of the month in a random drawing. Look for the fish bowl when you check in.

 NEW CLASSES
 

Beginning May 13th, we are happy to announce the addition of five new classes. Tues/Thurs NOON Vinyasa w/Liam. Saturday 7:30 a.m. Vinyasa w/Liam. In addition due to the popularity of our kids class and our desire to offer yoga to the community as a whole, we are adding a TEEN YOGA class on Tues/Thur @ 4:30 p.m.. We are grateful for your support which enables us to expand and offer more yoga to the community.

 Healthy Eating
 

These are seriously fabulous muffins. Cholesterol free, fat free, oat bran. Shared by Heidi Barlin. 2 1/2 C oat Bran - 1 T baking powder - 1/2 C turbinado sugar - 1 1/2 t cinnamon - 1/4 t allspice - 2 T orange zest - 1/2 C cranberries - 1/2 C chopped walnuts - 1 C unsweetened apple sauce - 2 egg whites beaten until foamy - 1/2 C water. Preheat oven to 425 F. Combine all dry ingredients. Add egg whites, applesauce and water. Fill muffin cups to the top. Bake @ 425 for 15- 20 minutes. Expect to sample some at the bookclub on the 1st of June.
