The ability to meet the obstacles that inhibit our yoga practice is essential for change/growth. Patanjali's three step plan for actions taken to purify and aid in clearing these obstacles include: TAPAS = accepting purification through intensity (heat, burning.) SVADHYAYA = study of great texts and discussion with other yogis or masters. ISVARA PRANIDHANAM = surrendering or letting go of ego and selfish motives. (Yoga Sutras, 2:1) TAPAH SVADHYAYESVARA PRANIDHANANI KRIYA YOGAH.

 New Class

Beginning February 23rd. and every 4th Friday of the month @ 5:00 p.m. I will be teaching an intensive class. This class will take practitioners to the next level, spiritually and physically. Much of the class will be taught in sanskrit and require adherence to the basics of yoga in practice. Instructor approval for participation will be required. This is not as daunting as it may seem. Many of you who may exclude yourselves would be surprised of my approval for practice. This class will be limited to 10 participants to ensure my attention to alignment and adjustments. This will not be in workshop format.
