Welcome to The Haven YOGA, where yoga is for life. When Liam and I were thinking of tag lines for the studio we wanted something to embody the true spirit of the studio. "Yoga for life", says it all. Then, to give a glimpse of what yoga can do for your life we added: "Calm your mind . . . Strengthen your body." I trust the spirit and vision of the studio is becoming part of your daily life.

 Monthly Workshop
 

Now that you have made the commitment to your practice, are you looking for a way to deepen your understanding of yoga, both physically and spiritually? Beginning in November and every 2nd Friday of each month, The Haven will offer a two hour workshop based class which will incorporate technical advisory and hands on adjustment for specific poses, based on the participants in class. The workshop will also include a discussion period to include yoga theory as it relates to your practice. I am offering these workshops at $30.00 or 2 class sessions for those of you on prepaid cards. My vision is to offer a deeper understanding of yoga. Remember, the workshop will be led to suit the participants in class. I will not have a set criteria in order to fully accommodate all levels of practice. FIRST CLASS Friday November 10th, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m..

 Welcome Terra
 

Beginning November 8th at 7:00 p.m. we welcome, Terra Gardner. Terra is a California Community College credentialed instructor who has taught wholistic fitness, social studies and communications skills building for 22 years with the San Diego Community College District. Terra, is also a national conference presenter for Southwest Dance, Movement and Acro - Sports. Most Importantly, she has a great spirit that mirrors our community at, The Haven. Terra's new class; Inner Calm - (deep relaxation for mind & body) will incorporate cathartic movement, visualization, intention and specific techniques to balance the right & left hemispheres of the brain. I am very jazzed Terra is joining us. WEDNESDAY's 7-8 P.M. Beginning November 8th.
