In Defense of Digital Music

Since digital recordings debuted with the CD in 1982, it's been popular among audiophiles to decry it in favor of analog vinyl recordings. They like to say that vinyl captures the nuances, the emotion, the depth, the very physicality of music.  

 

In his article in this month's Stereophile, Art Dudley ponders "Why we're not allowed to embrace more than one approach to musical bliss." I agree...
