The ROCK Cares Foundation would like to thank those of you who have already sent in your applications for the special "IN GOD WE TRUST" license plate for Kentucky. Additional thanks goes to volunteers who are distributing application forms to their family, friends & small groups! Over the last few weeks, we have received questions regarding the application process. Listed below are answers to your questions:
The ROCK Cares Foundation is a Kentucky non-profit with a mission to promote core American principles and values, including decency, moral virtue and human dignity, and to lovingly c are for individuals harmed by those that would s*xually exploit and prey on the most vulnerable among us, including women and children.
Completely separate from the regular state issued "In God We Trust" license plate, proceeds from your purchase of the ROCK Cares Foundation special plate will be used to bring hope and healing to some of the most hurting across the Commonwealth.
However before you can have this beautiful display of the national motto on your vehicle, ROCK Cares must obtain 900 applications from Kentucky drivers. Here is how you can help make sure the new special plate is available at your county clerks office:
- Don't wait until it is time to renew your tags. County clerks will only have the special "IN GOD WE TRUST" license plate available to them AFTER 900 paid applications have been submitted. So we must gather those applications NOW!
- Download the application today! You can also find the link at www.rockcaresfoundation.org.
- Fill out the top portion of the application. ROCK Cares will complete the bottom portion. You will need to complete a separate application for each vehicle.
- Mail the application with a $25 deposit check made payable to "ROCK Cares Foundation". If you are submitting more than one application multiply that number by $25. You may write one check for the total amount. (Example: Three (3) cars requires three (3) separate applications with one (1) check for $75.
- Mail your applications and one check made payable to "ROCK Cares Foundation" to ROCK Cares Foundation, 1717 Alliant Ave., Suite 21A, Louisville, KY 40299.
- ROCK Cares is required to collect all 900 applications and submit them with one check to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
- As soon as your license plate is available you will receive a deposit voucher in the mail from the state to present to your county clerk's office stating that you have already paid the first $25 of the special license plate fee.
- The actual cost of the special "IN GOD WE TRUST" license plate mandated by the state is $44. The ROCK Cares Foundation will receive $10.
- 100% of funds reserved for ROCK Cares will go to statewide projects and programs directly benefiting exploited and victimized women and children as well as educational endeavors in Kentucky regarding the harms associated with p*ornography and the s*x industry that will assist men, women, children and families.
- If you would like to personalize your special "IN GOD WE TRUST" license plate contact your county clerk's office after you receive your deposit voucher in the mail for instructions.
- Fill out and mail in your paid application to the ROCK Cares office TODAY. We need you to help get this beautiful rendition of the national motto on Kentucky roadways so much needed hope and assistance can be brought to some of our most hurting fellow Kentuckians.
- Encourage your friends and family to join you in celebrating the national motto with this God honoring display! Give them an application also!
