Mainstream support for Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains 8.0 will end
October 13, 2009 per the Microsoft Support Lifecycle Policy. Customers who
are current on a service plan can continue to access technical support through
October 13, 2009. Customers who are not current on a service plan can access
technical support via pay per incident flexible support.
About the Microsoft Support Lifecycle Policy
The Support Lifecycle helps you plan for upcoming product support transitions by
providing you with greater predictability. Microsoft Dynamics provides a minimum of
five years of Mainstream Support on new releases after March 2005. After the 5-year Mainstream Support phase, products are no longer supported. Customers are encouraged to upgrade to the most current version and remain on
the current service pack to minimize your risk to security exploits or loss of support. The policy is also clearly stated in the Customer Services Guide. Go to here

| Positive Changes to Support Line |
We are excited to announce some positive changes to our support line. InterDyn LANAC now has a dedicated Front Line Support Consultant who will have the primary responsibility of answering and troubleshooting Support Calls. This is a departure from our previous approach where we rotated our field consultants in and out of the support queue. In our desire to better support our clients both on site and remotely, we are pleased to announce that Irving Trujillo, is the new Front Line Support Consultant. Irving will be supported by our entire consulting team and our goal to provide faster response times and reinforced support will be realized. Additionally, our Support Hours have been changed to better serve our clients needs. The new support hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

FRx1 - The two-day Report Design Essentials - I course covers the basic report design skills you need to create, maintain and distribute presentation quality reports using Microsoft Business Solutions for Analytics - FRx.
FRxll - The two-day Report Design Essentials II course builds on the basic report design skills learned in Report Design Essentials I. Using Microsoft Business Solutions for Analytics-FRx.
Foundation - The Foundation course explores the basic elements of Microsoft Dynamics GP. Topics covered during this session include: system and company setup procedures, how to use key reports and inquiries, how to use SmartList to expand inquiry and analysis capabilities, business alerts, process server and tips for the user to personalize shortcuts and checklists to streamline business practices.
General Ledger - This course explores the accounting cycle and the processes required to enter financial data into the system. This course also shows you how to perform additional functions such as account reconciliation, budgeting, allocation, period-end and year-end closing procedures.
Payables Management - This course delves into the accounting cycle and the processes required to enter vendor invoices and process checks. This course also shows you how to perform additional functions such as adjustments, prepayments, month-end closing, and cash flow control.
Receivables Management - The one-day Microsoft Dynamics GP Receivables Management course explores the accounting cycle and the processes required to enter invoices and receive payments from customers. This course shows you how to perform additional functions such as credit memos, prepayments, small balance write off, print customer statements, enter and void scheduled payments, and month-end closing procedures.
Fixed Assets - The one-day Microsoft Dynamics GP Fixed Assets course delves into the accounting cycle and the processes required to enter, depreciate, and retire fixed assets. This course shows you how to perform additional functions such as changing asset information, mass changes, partial transfers, partial retirements, and retirement undo.
Inventory - This course shows you how to perform the reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy of your financial data and its relation to your financial institution. A thorough understanding of these topics allows you to reconcile your checkbooks with your bank statements, keeping information consistent and accurate.
Purchase Order Processing (POP) - The Microsoft Dynamics GP Purchase Order Processing course explores the details for the purchasing module from how to enter simple purchase orders with minimal to very detailed information based on your own business rules.
Sales Order Processing (SOP) - You will learn how Purchase Order transactions integrate with the Microsoft Dynamics GP Inventory Control, General Ledger, Payables Management, Sales Order Processing, and Fixed Assets modules.
