Cleaning Your Carpet
Is Living The Golden Rule!!
Greetings!

Thank you so much for being our client. I know that there are a lot of companies that you could use so thank you for allowing us to serve you. You may have noticed we are experiencing a slower economy these days. But I find myself struggling to agree that it has been all bad. Of course everyone you talk to has an opinion about what is going on and everyone seems to be ready to point the finger at who they think is to blame.

The poor blame the rich.
     The rich blame the banks.
          The banks blame the country.
               Some blame the president.
Still others are wanting God to have the credit.

But here is the silver lining that I see. This economy has us thinking about how to love our neighbor. What I mean is this: The people I know are thinking more about how their spending affects the world we live in and the way I see that is that people are thinking about what is good for their neighbor as they are thinking about what they need too. Thats not a bad thing. I'll give you a for instance: (this is also a completely shameless plug too) carpet is rarely replaced because it is worn out. Most people replace their carpet because they are redecorating. Well the economy has some people holding off on remodeling and redocorating. So instead of replacing their carpet, they are considering having it professionally cleaned.  It will certainly save them money, but it also keeps the carpet out of the landfill. Since carpet is made mostly from synthetic fibers, it is one of the hardest things for mother nature to break down and digest. So by cleaning their carpet they are not only saving money but they loving their neighbor by making the world we live in a better place. Now I warned you there was a shameless plug coming. But, also, don't deny yourself the pleasure of knowing that when you are cleaning your carpet you are not only loving your family, but you are loving your neighbor as well.

This Month's Special
Does this guy keep showing up everytime you call a professional carpet cleaner??

BubbaMany people I talk to are disgusted when it comes to hiring a professional carpet cleaner. And I don't blame them. The stories I hear often include a guy like this coming to their home and soaking them (there's the pun), leaving them with wet carpet that looks dirty again in 2 days after it dries. I have been told week after week that we have the best service in the Birmingham area hands down. But it doesn't surprise me. I am a Master Certified Textile Cleaning Specialist with over 30 years of experience and I train all our technicians myself. Then I pay to have them sent to classes and tested. Each of our clients has their carpet cleaned only by an IICRC Certified technician every time. The benefits are: carpet stays clean long after its dried, stains are removed instead of set, most of the carpet is dry by the time we leave, no extra charge for: spot removal, furniture moving, pre-treating the traffic areas, we protect your walls and staircases from hose damage, no high pressure bait and switch sales just to name a few. So if you have never treated yourself to the luxurious experience of having your carpets cleaned by us we are making that really easy for your to do this month. Here's the deal we are offering:

DoginSunglasses Pet Urine
Dealing with pet urine is something that all of us have to deal who own pets. This is for fresh urine only. the reason I make that distinction is because urine goes through a ph change and so what works when it just happens will not work 2 days later after its dried. Just click here and you will be connected to a video demonstration that shows you exactly how to remove this from your carpet. Keep in mind that the video may take a few minutes to download. And click here and let us know if you need your free bottle of DAD'S Amazing Spot Remover.
Grandma's Goodies
Easter cookies Easter Cookies
This is a fun recipe because its easy for kids to make these, and there is a fun story behind the recipe. We make these cookies with the kids every year. (and let them do the work).

Here is what you will need:
1 cup whole pecans
1 teaspoon vinegar
3 egg whites
pinch salt
1 cup sugar
zipper baggie
wooden spoon or a wooden meat hammer

It is best to make these right before bedtime.
Preheat oven to 300*F.
Place pecans in zipper baggie and let children beat them with the wooden spoon or hammer to break them into small pieces.
Put 1 teaspoon of vinegar into the mixing bowl.
Add egg whites to the vinegar.
Then put your pinch of salt in the bowl.
Add 1 cup sugar to the bowl.
Beat with a mixer on high speed for 10 to 15 minutes until stiff peaks form. Fold in broken nuts.
Drop by teaspoons onto wax paper covered cookie sheets.
Put the cookie sheet in the oven, close the door and turn the oven OFF.
Leave the kitchen. If you've been making these cookies just before bedtime, GO TO BED!
In the morning open the over and the cookies will be done.
