But it is surprisingly inexpensive and easy to have, lets say, some repairs done while we are already in your home cleaning the carpet. It is really amazing how doing some simple repairs to your carpet can take ten years off your carpet's appearance. And, with the special we are offering, a lot of times you end up getting the repair(s) for free. Anyway I look forward to hearing from you.

I want to tell all my customers about my experience at Hungry Howies. A few months ago I saw a Hungry Howies pizza at the Publix shopping center in Alabaster. I was so excited because I used to eat Hungry Howies when I lived in Atlanta so I knew they had the best tasting pizza for the money. The owner Eric Wetzel opened Hungry Howies Pizza back in November. I was talking to him and he said that his biggest problem is that no one knows he's there. He is really hard to see from Hwy 119. So I told him that I would be glad to let all our customers know about him. I get lunch there about once a week. They have great pizza along with fantastic salads and subs. They quickly became my kids favorite pizza. And as you know, kids are pizza experts. So pick up a pizza on your way home tonight or after the game on Friday. Grandma's Goodies
 Sausage with
Peppers and Onions This is another favorite that I grew up with. There were always three or four different recipes at every family gathering.
- In a pot of boiling water, cook 2lbs. of Italian sausage links for about 15 minutes. This will remove a lot of the fat.
- Remove sausage from boiling water and cut each link into 2 or 3 pieces. Then brown in a frying pan on med. heat with butter.
- Slice one sweet onion and one bell pepper then add to frying pan once the sausage is browned. Continue cooking on medium till the peppers and onions are soft and browned.
- Add one can of tomato sauce and season to taste with garlic and oregano. (or whatever you like).
- Let simmer on low for about an hour.
- Serve on Italian Torpedo rolls.
This is a great easy dish. It goes down especially great with beer and football. (or just beer if you're out of football). Feel free to call if you have any questions, I have made this dish a hundred times too. |
