So, are you having challenges? Are things blowing up
in your face? Trouble sleeping? Welcome to the club. I
am experiencing all of these in response to the
energies and it feels to me as if Mercury is still
retrograde. Venus is actually retrograde and that may
be part of it. Plus, read on for some other possibilities
that could be contributing. Remember that the issues
coming up are in your face to be healed and cleared.
And that you signed up to do this (it looks so easy
from The Other Side).
Here is what Celia Fenn had to say about last
week: "Then, on the 15th of August, Venus in Leo at 26
degrees will align with Galactic Center at 26 degrees
of Sagittarius, and Pluto on the Galactic Center. In this
fiery and transformative connection, Venus will relay
these New Earth energies back to the Great Central

Acceptance of the Infinity Codes and Physical
Transformation for Humanity on Earth will be

make things seem difficult for us!
Start making your list of what you want to
release from your life (suggestion: "Everything that is
unlike love"). You may choose to burn this list at the
time of the eclipse coming up on the 28th. See below.

On August 27th at 12:30 AM it will look like
the earth has 2 moons. Planet Mars will be the
brightest in the night sky when Mars comes within
34.65M miles of earth. It will look as large as the full
moon to the naked eye.
Some are calling this "The day the Whole
World is waiting for."
The next time Mars comes this close to Planet
Earth will be in 2287.

The Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces occurs at
the Full Moon on August 28th, 6:35 a.m. EDT. The path
of the eclipse is completely visible in Alaska, Western
Canada, Washington, Oregon, California, Western
Nevada, Hawaii and the Pacific, including eastern
Australia and New Zealand. Partial visibility occurs in
the rest of the US, Canada, South America, at Moon
set and most of Australia and the Orient at Moon Rise.
This is significant because it is in these locations that
we can expect to see the action related to the eclipse
energy play out over the next six months.
This eclipse also sets the stage for Saturn's
entrance into Virgo on September 2nd. The Sun sits
with the Virgo south node and Mercury in Virgo. We
believe we are our thoughts about perfection, work,
service, victimization, health issues. The Earth steps
in to cast a shadow on the Moon, with the evolutionary
north node in spiritual, compassionate, trust-and-faith
Pisces. Mercury in Virgo opposes Uranus in Pisces -
Mind versus Intuition. Mars in Gemini opposes Jupiter
in Sagittarius. Power and duality versus expansion
and perception. Venus in Leo opposes Neptune in
Aquarius. Love and ego opposes Spirit and the group.
Once again, Pluto trines Saturn in the very last degree
of Leo, opening the way for great lessons to be
learned and new ideas to come in, straight from the
Galactic Center where Pluto sits. And all this adds up
to the fact that we are going to have two and a half
years to transcend limiting ideas about perfection,
discover the way inner light organizes our body and
our world in divine order, allow Higher Mind to master
the lower mind, feel the waves of unconditional love
for self and others and find our true service in
contribution to our community.
The eclipse will bring a closure to issues in
the house where it falls in the birth chart. The harvest
opens the door to the new cycle. Some things pass so
others can come. To find out how this and the Saturn
in Virgo transit will affect you, go to the catalogue and
order a natal chart reading. Venus is retrograde all
month. Go back over financial and relationship
issues, complete artistic projects. You may hear from
an old love. Try to avoid looking for real estate and
don't begin art and design projects now.
Eclipses and Candles
Eclipses mark key points of change in any given year
and often bring on sudden news. Keep in mind that
some eclipses deliver their news one month to the
day later, plus or minus four days. New moon
eclipses tend to emphasize facts rather than
emotions, while full moon eclipses are much more
feeling-oriented.
It was believed by the Ancients that at the time of a
solar eclipse God had a clear view of all the earth and
that one's good intentions would at that time be
rewarded by one's desires. By making a list of your
desires, you will be focusing your energies so that
your desires will be manifested.
Here are suggestions from "The Candle Lighting
Encyclopedia" by Tina Ketch to assist you in observing
eclipses.
The lunar eclipse at the beginning of the release time
frame (Full Moon) will intensify your desire to release
everything you no longer need, everything that no
longer serves you. In preparation for a lunar eclipse,
make a list of everything that you wish to release from
your life. Use a small white candle to light a white
candle and burn your list with the larger white candle.
The solar eclipse at the beginning of the bring time
frame (New Moon) will intensify your desire to start
over, to plan a new life for yourself and begin new
projects. In preparation for a solar eclipse, make a list
of everything that you wish to bring into your life. Use a
small white candle to light a white candle and burn
your list with the white candle.
White candles show the purity of your intent. Let the
main candle burn itself out. Do not blow it out, as this
cancels the effect and intent. If you do not wish to let it
burn out, snuff it out. You may move it to a safe place
to burn itself out, such as a fireplace, shower stall,
etc.
Music, meditation, chanting, prayers, etc., can be used
to create a ritual to amplify your intentions. Be creative.
Above all, enjoy being in synch with these energies!
Note from Lois: I find it works well to hold the list with
tongs over an aluminum pie plate and that doing this
at the kitchen range with an exhaust fan going controls
the smoke. I then take the ashes outside and return
them to nature. Cast them away, turn around and
leave them. Don't look back.
