ANDOR Technology's new NEO camera is equipped with a very large 5.5 megapixel sensor (22 mm diagonal), which renders it ideal to combine with an optical image splitter to capture bicolored images at high resolution with one single camera.

 Optosplit II splits any dichroic image (optional tricolored) into two unicolored images with each 1280 x 2100 pixels. The images are delivered onto the NEO imaging sensor next to each other at the same time (no delay by moving parts).

 With frame rates up to 100 full frames per sec and a high dynamic range (real 1:25.000) this camera offers in a bundle with Optosplit II two standard cameras in one.
NEO suits best where a large field of view, high resolution and high sensitivity (QE 60%) are required. Moreover, you benefit from high frame rates at a low read-out noise (1 electron).
