ACAL announces the entry into the market of Vicor's V·I BRICKTM PFMTM Isolated AC-DC converter
The module incorporates active power factor correction (PFC) providing a high density, isolated AC-DC power solution for today's demanding power applications and operates over a wide input voltage range between 85 and 264Vac, which provides attractive flexibility. There is also a regulated and isolated 48 Vdc output with power up to 330W. The high efficiency (93%) of the module and the thermally adept V·I BRICK package provides a simplified means to thermally manage the power system. This new development from Vicor opens up the device to a wealth of applications.
