Microchip Technology has expanded its 8-bit and USB microcontroller lines with the PIC18F47J53. Featuring XLP technology for eXtreme Low Power Consumption, the new MCU provides up to 128 KB Flash program memory and 4 KB RAM, offering plenty of code space for Microchip's free USB stack, and for application code. The MCU features full-speed USB 2.0 capability, enabling applications that can perform remote field upgrades, download usage data and connect to diagnostic equipment, which results in lower costs and more flexibility for the end user.

AAEON release two new economic embedded controllers

Compliant with ENERGY STAR regulations, GES-3300F delivers high performance and low consumption while the Atom Based AEC-6611 offers a slim compact design with great performance. AAEON has unveiled two more additions to their eco-friendly, economic embedded controller product line. GES-3300F adopts the Intel Celeron M processor with two 240-pin DDR2 400/533/667 DIMM (up to 4GB) system memory. It features the Intel® 945GME and ICH7M chipset to provide high performance and consists of two Gigabit Ethernets for faster network communications.

The purpose of this notification is to remind Lantronix' customers of the transition from the XPort 03 to XPort 04. Lantronix needed to improve the long term availability of the components inside the XPort 03. As a result, the Xport 04 was developed to improve product longevity. If you are an existing X-Port Rev 03 customer and are still to approve the new Rev 04 revision. Please contact us to request a sample.
