Emerson and Freescale collaborate on power architecture technology for small form factor boards

Two new advancedTCA Blades from Emerson featuring latest Intel Xeon processors
Emerson has launched two new high performance AdvancedTCA server blades powered by the latest Intel Xeon processor 5600 series. The dual-processor ATCA-7365 is Emerson's highest performance 10Gbps ATCA server blade to date, while the single processor ATCA-7367 features an AMC site to balance performance with on-board storage, flexible I/O or other functionality. Both blades offer one of the highest memory capacitites of comparable ATCA blades available today, which is critical to optimise application performance.

Emerson launches ruggedized VME boards
 Emerson has announced ruggedized models of its successful MVME4100 link and MVME7100 link VMEbus boards. The ruggedized single board computers (SBCs) support a wider range of operating and storage temperatures in addition to increased tolerances for shock and vibration. This enables the boards to operate in harsh environments while maintaining structural and operational integrity.
