----------------------------------------------------------- On February 1, 2011, the City of Cincinnati implemented the Second Chance Tax Amnesty Program. This program will run through March 31, 2011, and allow individuals and companies who have not filed and paid local payroll and net profit taxes for 2009 and prior years to do so without penalty or interest.
The city understands that the economy has impacted the ability of some individuals and companies to file and pay their taxes, so they are offering this short-term Tax Amnesty to help offset the additional costs typically associated with late filings. Information, applications, and tax forms are available at www.cincinnatiamnesty.org . Individuals who do not have a computer or access to one can call the Tax Amnesty Hotline at 513-352-3837.
