    The chill in the air and the leaves on the ground can only mean one thing... the October meeting of the Kennedy Heights Community Council is right around the corner!


    Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park comes "Off-the-Hill" to District A

    Our 2010-11 Playhouse series of plays-for-all-ages opens with the Macy's New Play Prize winner, Happy Worst Day Ever, written by Arlene Hutton. Happy Worst Day Ever is about the kind of days we all have - it just ends better. AND it's funny throughout every worst episode.

    Have dinner before or after. Bring your family or bring a date for less than the price of a movie. Enjoy live professional theater across generations and share the fun with your neighbors, too.

    Community Council Meets Tuesday Night

    The Kennedy Heights Community Council will have its October meeting Tuesday October 18th beginning at 7:30pm

    As always there will be lots of good information about our community and a great chance to meet your neighbors.

    The meeting will take place at the Kennedy Heights Presbyterian Church on Kennedy Ave. and will be proceeded by the regular meeting of the executive board.

    News from the Green Corner

    Please note there is no Community Market on Saturday - we have closed for the remainder of the fall and winter.

    With the Green Corner Market closed for the season, Patty Schwartz of Backacres Farm will be located at Molly Malone's 6111 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati 45213, beginning Saturday October 16th from 10:00.m. until 1:00p.m. and every Saturday henceforth.

    Other activities will continue at the Green Corner through the end of 2010. We'll provide you with sufficient notice of these activities through periodic newsletters as appropriate.

    The Giving Garden had a very sucessful Open House as many friends and residents stopped by on a beautiful Saturday night to help get this wonderful project off the ground!

    The Kunken Galley will open every Saturday from 10:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. with a different artist every month. The gallery is managed by Cyd Alper-Sedgwick, Principal of the Kunken Collection consisting of a variety of services including interior design, Feng Shui consultations and Life Coaching.

    Multi-family garage sale on 6431 Welton Street, Saturday, October 23 from 7am to 2pm
    Five families contributed to this garage sale from years of collecting. There are SO many items and they include not just the regular fare such as clothes, but also a computer for parts, computer accessories, GPS system, camcorder, washing machine, appliances, furniture, exercise equipment, kids items, AND MORE. Best yet, ALL proceeds from this sale are going to benefit a non-profit arts organization!
