Candidates Night |
 |
Autumn... for most it brings to mind Football
season, Leaf Raking, Trick or Treat.
Something else you can count on this time of
year is Election Season!
Residents and friends of Kennedy Heights are
invited to attend the
Meet-The-Candidates/Ballot Issues session
sponsored by the Kennedy Heights Community
Council.
- When: Tuesday, October 23 -
6:30p.m.-9:00p.m.
- Where: Kennedy Heights Presbyterian
Church's Fellowship Hall (on Kennedy Avenue,
two blocks south of Montgomery Road).
This event will consist of three parts:
- 6:30-7:00 Candidates for Board of
Education
Cincinnati Public Schools are one
of the largest property
owners in our neighborhood and the members of
the School Board have a
direct say in the fate of those properties.
- 7:00-8:30 Candidates for City
Council
Cincinnati has a unique, three
party system for council elections and we
expect the debate amongst more
than two dozen candidates to be lively
-
8:30-9:00 Candidates for Judgeship, other
offices, and, proponents and opponents on
ballot issues
Come be a part of our
political process. Please join
us for this importanat event. You will leave
with a better
understanding about the candidates and
issues facing our neighborhood in
the year to come. Brought to you by the
Kennedy Heights Community Council

Rummage Sale |
 |
The Kennedy Heights Montessori Center is
holding our second annual Rummage Sale on
Saturday, October 13th from 9 a.m. -
1p.m. in
the Woodford Padeia school gymnasium. The
school is located at 6065 Red Bank Road.
We will have lots of baby clothes,
electronics, toys, crafts - all sorts of
great things. Last year we even had larger
ticket items such as a deep freeze. Anyone
who likes a bargain doesn't want to miss this
event.
Plus it's a great way to support one of our
community's greatest treasures - our own
Montessori preschool and Kindergarten that
has been serving KH and the neighboring
communities for over 40 years.
