Neighborhood Notes |

Under Construction - The City of
Cincinnati is rehabilitating several city
streets this year. Two streets are in Kennedy
Heights: Red Bank Road from Zinsle to North
Terminus and Skyline Drive from Congreve
Avenue to Aikenside Avenue. People are asked
to be patient while streets are under
construction; it will not be continuous from
start to finish on any given streets. This is
by design as it is more efficient for
contractors and therefore reduces cost.
------------------------------------------------ Great
Job! - "At our last council meeting, Chris
Monzel's office sent a flyer about dangling
cable wires. He invited our community to
contact his office regarding any dangling
cables we saw, as it contributes to blight.
Monzel wants to take a concerted action to
rid this visual nuisance. After the meeting,
resident Ann Dempsey drove the streets of
Kennedy Heights to record and report
occurrences of dangling cable wires. Today
she sent a report to Chris Monzel identifying
172 instances... and she's not done.
Since Chris sends a representative to all of
Kennedy Heights meetings, we will be able to
get status reports of cleaning up the wires
at our next community council meeting. If you
want to report dangling cable wires on your
street (it doesn't hurt to duplicate efforts
in these types of instances) you can send
email to
chris.monzel@cincinnati-oh.gov." --------------------------------------------------------
Lost and Found - The Kennedy
Heights Presbyterian Church has found a
camera left after a recent event. For more
