As the weather warms, it's a sign to bring the gear in for annual service. Many of you have already done that, but if your gear is still behind the snow shovels in the garage, dust it off and get ready to dive. There is still time to drop it off at Lang's in May for a quick turn around.
Check out Lang's Boat Dive schedule for 2010. There are some great wrecks to hit. Bookings for dives are ahead of last season. Only a couple spots remain for some of the more interesting wreck sites. Take a look at your calendar and plan your diving with Lang's. Call us or stop in to put your name in the dive book.
Truk Lagoon is waiting for YOU. Lang's is now booking the March 2012 trip aboard the Odyssey. This will be a "Trip of a Lifetime". Lenny Carmichael made the number drop from 15, to there being ONLY 14 spots remaining.
The one tank Wednesday night dives were a big hit last season, with divers filling the boat on Wednesday. This is perfect to get your PADI "Night Diver Specialty" course completed. A jump in the ocean on Wednesday is just what you need to break up the work week.

Dive tip of the Month:
In preparation for a Dive Trip, Add your name to the inside & outside of your luggage, in case your name tag is accidentally removed in transit. Copy your air itinerary & place it inside your bag. This is the best way for airline personnel to get your bag to you if it takes a wrong turn during travel.
Take enough clothing in your carry on bag for a day along with any medications. If your bag is lost you will have the bare essentials. Carry the address of your destination hotel to give to the airline in the event your bag does not arrive with you. Also, when packing, make a list of ALL items that go into your checked luggage. This will provide the airline with accurate information immediately, if your bag gets lost.
Finally, be diligent when checking your bags. Make certain that your baggage claim and the tag that goes on your bag are printed for you final destination. Happy Travels! |
