Art Attack Friday, September 4, 6-9 pm
This month Sue has invited fiber artist Nancy Roberts of Machine Knitting to Dye For to participate in the Art Attack. Nancy is known for her strikingly beautiful and innovative knitting/dyeing techniques and will be demonstrating them at the shop this evening.
Consider
spending the first Friday evenings of each month checking out the art,
music, and dining along Solano Avenue. Participants will
vary month to month, with the updated programs listed at the Art Attack Friday website.
Solano Stroll, Sunday September 13Come out for this lively community-oriented event - music, art, entertainment and community education and outreach take place up and down the Avenue. The Stroll begins with a traditional hometown parade and continues all day. Meet your friends and neighbors, bring your visiting relatives and enjoy the party. And stop by to say hello - we'll have our table set up out front with vintage lamps and "sale" shades at flea market prices, and Sarah Sirchuk's beautiful succulent gardens, all raising money for Heifer International again this year. We look forward to seeing you then.
