Art Attack Fridays on Solano Avenue 2009
All along Solano, businesses will be staying open late, offering special programs with art, music, refreshments, and more to enliven your first Friday evenings.
Since opening her lamp shop in 1972, Sue has been creating functional art on the Avenue, lamps and lamp shades that add more than light to a room.
These first Friday evenings she is taking the opportunity to be open late and available to discuss art, craft, lamps and lampshades, really anything that interests those who stop by. She'll have some light snacks and hot tea on hand to share, along with her years of experience. Bring your general curiosity or your specific questions for Sue during this informal open house Friday, June 5, 6-9 PM.
Consider spending the first Friday evenings of each month checking out the dining, music, and art on Solano Avenue. Participants and programs will vary month to month, with the updated programs listed at Art Attack Fridays.com.
