Greetings!
I hope to see you at our LinkedIn Live event on August 9 where we're looking forward to a great time of networking. Speaking of LinkedIn, have you joined our group yet? If not, you can do so here where you can join the conversation about our growing technology community. Also, our Future Focus Foundation has launched its own newsletter as well. If you'd like to receive all the regional STEM news and event notices you can sign up here. Lastly, we are planning our fall and winter networking events now; Wired Wednesday, Tech@Breakfast, and our peer-to-peer groups will resume in September - stay tuned!
Sincerely, Jonathan Whitt, Executive Director

Entries by Virginia public bodies should be submitted by August 2, 2012. Awards will be presented to honorees on behalf of the Governor at a special ceremony during the Commonwealth of Virginia Innovative Technology Symposium (COVITS) on Sept. 6-7. Nominations will be evaluated by a committee of judges including IT leaders from state agencies, localities, the legislature, courts and education. Executive summaries of winning entries will be posted online to provide inspiration and best practice examples to peers and partners.
