Greetings!
I trust your new year is off to a great start. I am looking forward to a great year for the Tech Council and there are some exciting new opportunities that I want to share with you. This year is going to be about serious networking! We will be posting our event schedule on our website in the coming days and filling in the details as we get them. I encourage you to go ahead and put those dates on your calendar. Our 11th annual Awards Night in May is going to be proceeded by a half-day B2B conference with the theme to be released in February. You will not want to miss this event. We will be holding another LinkedIn Live event this summer in addition to a number of Wired Wednesday and Tech@Breakfast events. I am also excited to announce that we are launching two new roundtable groups for our members in addition to our CIO roundtable - Tech Lifestyle and IT Directors. If you own a technology lifestyle business or are an IT Director I would like to hear from you. Please contact me directly so I can share the details with you. We also have opportunities for you to sponsor events and even be a presenter. If you are interested in either, please let me know. And lastly, our Future Focus Foundation will be hosting several large STEM events for students this year in addition to numerous smaller activities. A sample includes a regional Jr. FIRST LEGO tournament, a FIRST LEGO Tournament, and Future Focus EXPO. If you would like to volunteer to help with any of our STEM events please let us know. I look forward to working with you this year to make it the best ever for our growing technology community. Sincerely, Jonathan
