Greetings!
I want to personally thank our corporate sponsors and members for your support at last week's Awards Night. Support for the Technology Council and our work program has never been stronger and that was evidenced by the many people I spoke with last week that stopped me to simply say thanks. And while that is humbling and much appreciated, it's our technology community that deserves the pat on the back. The Technology Council exists to be the voice of our technology companies and supporters but it is the growing number of people who consider themselves a part of our technology community here in Region 2000 that are doing truly remarkable things to reshape our region's economy into one that is driven by technology-based opportunities. The future of our region depends on a science and technology competent workforce and growing technology industries that are creating wealth for the citizens and communities of Region 2000. Awards Night is annual celebration that helps us to refocus and celebrate these achievements but its the daily progress being made right where you're at that's the backbone of the transformation taking place in our region. So, to all those that consider themselves a member of this community, I say thank you.
Jonathan Whitt, Executive Director
