Client Spotlight:  Kimberly Clark Health Care Works With Priceless and 20/20 Insight to Gather Key Metrics
Leo Tilley
Performance and Learning Team Leader Leo Tilley is using 20/20 Insight to report progress and return on investment to the executive leadership team.

Doing so has enhanced the reputation of the department.
"The nice thing about 20/20 Insight is that it's flexible, robust and easy to use," reports Tilley. "We can put together a survey for measuring position competencies, organizational climate, and training evaluations more quickly, easily and in a short time. I don't have to go to an outside resource to make changes or modifications, which is a major cost savings. The software allows us to control the process. In addition, it gives me ammunition and information about what I need to build so we can develop our people all across the world."

Tilley explained that his department must show value for the money being invested in training. "In order to do that," he stated, "I have to assess where the biggest issues are so I can show value and get buy-in from managers. They think they know the issues intuitively. When I can show them the data, it reinforces what they sensed and then allows me to get the resources I need. Being able to demonstrate value and focus on what our [internal] customers need is helping our team quickly develop credibility."

Have you or anyone you know felt like this lately:

"I want to go back to bed, pull the covers over my head and have somebody wake me up when my 401(k) bounces back., I don't know about you, but I'm finding myself so jittery about, well everything, that it's all I can do to surf the net. Kind of ironic, isn't it? I should be working more, but I'm so anxious... that I'm actually working less!"

When I read friend and humorist Lisa McLeod's thoughts from her really great Forget Perfect newsletter, I found myself nodding my head in agreement. I've felt some of what she's talking about, on and off, for a few weeks.

This month's been much better - I've been more productive, more hopeful and more focused.  The result: new business ideas, new potential alliance partners, more energy, more fun and more waking-up-ready-to-go-days, more often.

Not much has changed in the world but the biggest change has been... CONTINUE READING

Zoom, Zoom...Uncovering 'Secrets'
That's me standing in the pit box for my favorite NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr. at  Atlanta Motor Speed Way. My husband, Jeff, snapped this picture right before security 2020 product photoyelled, "Get off the wall!"

I felt like such a rebel!  It was very cool. There we were right where all the action happens.

While it was fun being on pit road before the race, watching the race was even better because this year we experienced the race from luxury seats in Club One.

Instead of cold metal seats with drunk 'new friends' screaming in your ear - Club One offers leather couches, flat screen TV's, catered food, elegant, clean restrooms and access to a great track view via the Observation Deck.   Now THAT's the way to see a race.   And we saw it all just because we found out about 'the secret'.

Jeff doesn't like to spend money.  And he was not going pay the exorbitant Club One ticket price, no matter how much I 'suggested' how much more fun Club One would be.  Jeff chatted with the ticket agent about seating choices over several phone calls.

When asked, the ticket agent initially said there were no specials.  My ever-thrifty, determined deal-making husband pressed some more, "Are you SURE there aren't any specials?"

Then, in a hushed tone, the agent shared, "Well Mr. Price, we don't have specials, but we do have a secret that you might want to know about."   The 'secret' is... CONTINUE

 Fun: Random Thoughts
Here's a link to an fun 'Tibetan Personality' test. There are only 4 questions but the results are a great diversion for fun.  I was surprised how my random answers turned into something nice.  If you need a 5 minute just-for-fun break, click here .

Be honest and honor what pops into your mind first when the questions present themselves.
Inspiration:  39 Wake Up Eager Tips

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
3. Go to bed earlier and get more sleep.
4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following:
'Today, my primary purpose is to __________.'
5. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
6. Play more games and read more books than you did last year.

8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under  the age of 6.
9. Dream more while you are awake.
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured or packaged in factories.

13. Clear clutter from your house, your car, your desk and let new energy flow into your life.
14. Don't waste your energy on gossip, issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead  invest your energy in the positive present moment.
15. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear  and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out charge card.
17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the NEGATIVE  BLUES away.
18. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
20. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
21. You won't win every argument. Agree to disagree.
22. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
23. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea  what their journey is all about.
24. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
25. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'
26. Forgive everyone for everything.
27. What other people think of you is none of your business.
28. Remember, Love heals everything.
29. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
30. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick.Your friends will. Stay in touch.
31. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
32. Envy is a waste of time. You can have everything you want.
33. The best is yet to come.
34. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
35. Do the right thing!
36. Call and email your friends and family often.
37. Each night before you go to bed mentally recap all that you appreciate.
38. Use appreciation as a tool to remind yourself that you're too blessed to be stressed.
39. Enjoy the ride. You only have one ride through this life so make the most of every moment, every single day.

May nothing but happiness come through your door!
