strongReport Highlights Findings from Year 2 Evaluation of the Implementation of Strong Foundations in Illinois

In the fall of 2009, the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), in collaboration with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and the Home Visiting Task Force (HVTF) of the Early Learning Council began the implementation of Strong Foundations--an evidence-based home visiting program for the prevention of child maltreatment.
