Join the Library as we welcome beloved author EOIN COLFER and celebrate the release of THE LAST GUARDIAN, the eighth and final volume in his best-selling ARTEMIS FOWL series! Mr. Colfer will be speaking, answering questions, and signing at the event; don't miss your chance to meet this warm, wonderful author!

 

FREE event tickets will be available starting Saturday, June 30th at 9:00 am (Library location to be announced). Patrons must have a valid Provo City Library card, a registered Orem Public Library card, or be a resident of Provo City.

 

Up to four tickets will be issued per patron. As we expect this event to sell out quickly, we encourage interested patrons to arrive early. Please, no babes in arms at the event.

Thousands Sign Up for Dream Big -- Read! Summer Reading Program
  

Close to 4,000 children have signed up for the Library's Summer Reading Program. Haven't signed up yet? There's still time. You have until July 9th to sign up at the Children's Reference Desk!

 

Children sign a contract with the parent's signature to determine the number of minutes they will read each day. 

 

Thousands Attend Make and Take Crafts

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Young Special Events Room or Children's Story Room

10:00 am - 12:00 noon

 

Come and assemble an easy-to-make craft with your kids. Don't forget to attend Canopy Capers outside on the south lawn. 12 noon each Tuesday and Thursday. Bring your lunch and drinks!

 

Besides Getting a Free Book...Be sure to come to the End of the Summer Reading Party!

Children who finish the Summer Reading program will be given a free book and ticket to the swim party!

Guests of the child will be admitted for $1.00 each on Thursday July 26th only. If you are unable to attend on July 26th, you can use your pass on Friday July 27th or Saturday July 28th.

 

This is the event of the year! The pool is reserved for Provo Library patrons who have finished their summer reading. The water is warm, the lights are turned on. Treats and family memories!

 

Learn It @ Your Library Gourmet Ice Cream Creations

Local author Wendy Paul presents recipes and tips from her newest book, 101 Gourmet Ice Cream Creations.

Learn how to make unique and tasty ice cream treats.

Learn It @ Your Library is a series of free educational classes offered each month. Classes are free. No registration required.

 

 

The Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 for Independence Day and Tuesday, July 24 for Pioneer Day. We will reopen for regular business the following day.
