Happy Spring!

There is so much emerging all at once - flowers, leaves, bird song, and pollen.  Are you feeling frisky with all the new fresh green growth, or are you feeling allergic, irritable, testy, ungrounded?

Welcome to the Wood Element!

The season of the Wood element is springtime.  The organs and meridians are the liver and gall bladder; the color is green or blue-green, like dragon's scales; and the emotions, when out of balance, are anger, frustration and depression.  We are now at the New Moon in Aries.  Aries is ruled by Mars, the warrior, aka the God of war.  We are currently in a time of both Mercury retrograde and Mars retrograde, so perhaps you may be feeling not only irritable but also that no matter how hard you try, nothing seems to be getting accomplished.  You may be searching for your calm, peaceful self, and be wondering how to find it again.

As we said in the beginning of the year, the best way through these times of emotional upheaval is a daily practice of some kind.  Grounding, breathing, meditation and/or yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, exercise, writing, painting, and now, in this season, gardening.

So, how do you find your way home?

In this season, first tame the liver:  In Acutonics, we use Liver 3, Great Surge, to pull the Qi down (it has a habit of rising up as we get angry or frustrated, making us feel tense, face flushed and poisonous words can be spoken).  How to call that dragon energy safely back?  Join Liver 3, Great Surge, with Large Intestine 4, Union Valley, to create the Four Gates.  Open these gates with Zodiac 3rd and feel the relief and release.  Give yourself and/or your clients, friends, and significant others the benefit of SPACIOUSNESS.

Sometimes life can feel so binding.  The ancient pictograph for Liver Qi stagnation was of an animal caught in a thicket.  Every time it moves, it becomes more trapped.  If you, or someone you know feels this way, add Gall Bladder 41, Near to Tears, with Zodiac 3rd.  Now, use New Moon 5th on your 3rd eye and then Du 20, the Crown.  That should have

 you feeling more peaceful, or at least give a more expanded perspective.  Maybe you are feeling the need for a cleanse or a detox?  When you reach for a green drink, remember it is the color of the Wood element, of Springtime and vitality.  Its correlation in Acutonics Sound Healing is the Earth Day 5th.

Begin with Zodiac 3rd, follow with New Moon 5th,

finish with Earth Day 5th or even Ohm Octave

Advanced forks:

Add in Mercury Ohm microtone for lung benefit and detox

Venus/Ohm 6th for circulation and revitalization of blood

 Jupiter/Ohm 4th for expansiveness after you have cleared stagnation.

(Jupiter is the planet associated with the liver).
