Dear ,
Here we are at the Yin time of the year, the time of "dreaming the dark", as Starhawk has said. Some of us are fervently waiting for the solstice, for the light to return. But what happens if we yield to the dark, unkown, mysterious Yin? What treasure will we find? This is a powerful time to choose between love and fear.
This is a wonderful time to listen to the New Moon 5th, especially the Low New Moon 5th. The 5th is our interval for spiritual openings, taking us deep inside ourselves. With the low, slow wave we can be led to our memory palace within, perhaps to find a Yin pond of stillness and potential.
Sedna also has a powerful resonance at this time, as we are in the time of the north, the winter and the darkness.

Protocal from Laurie for awakening Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth and Keeper of the Fire, in a busy life:
- Light a candle to set sacred space for yourself
- Sit before the candle and move your awareness to your Dan Tian (lower abdomen)
- Let your eyes move to softer focus as you slow your breath and body rhythms
- Breathe deeply into your Dan Tian, releasing with each outbreath any tension or distractions
- When you are ready, pick up your Ohm/New Moon Forks. Place these together on DU 16, (Jade Pillow) 1 time.
- Follow with Ohm/New Moon at Ren 17, (Heart Center) 3 times.
- Ohm/Zodiac at Ren 17, (Heart Center) 3 times
- Ohm/New Moon at Ren 4, (Origin's Pass) 3 times.
- Ohm/Earthday between the knees in a figure eight.
- Chant Ohm with awareness located in the 3rd auric layer (about 2 ft out from the body..."Just intend it")
- When you feel ready, open your Earth Chakra (18" below your feet) with the intention of sending love and gratitude to our mother Earth.
