GORGE TOUR TESTIMONY
|
Dear Gorge Preservation Society- I just wanted to let you all know how successful and interesting our tour of the gorge was. The guide and docent were knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. The fossils, geology, the birding was everything we hoped for and more. Your representatives foster good will and a helping hand to a group who had no prior connection. The pace was excellent; information was understandable, and the rest stops were shading and welcomed. We took a group of eight, and although our group ranged in age from 70 to 12 years old, everyone was equally impressed with the force of nature that created this diamond in the rough. As residents of Canyon Lake for more than twenty years and people who experienced this event first hand, it was amazing to see results of the Flood of 2002. Thank you so much to the foundation and all those who worked so hard to make this tour happen.
Sincerely, Cricket Ingraham Canyon Lake, TX
