Discounted Summer Rates for
Via West Campus (Formerly Camp Costanoan) |
Via Services has announced it will charge lower rates for the 2011 summer sessions in June, July and August. We have been able to reduce our rates by $600 from last year's level (based on the Tier 1 cost of a 6-day session for a 3:1 participant). Click here for details on the reduced rates. Also because of generous donations from our supporters - including the "Gino Campaign" - we are able to provide limited funds to support families needing additional financial assistance. For more information please contact Molly at 408 243-7861 x214 or myoung@viaservices.org.

Via Ball Scores Big Hit;
Our Most Successful Event In Four Years | |
|
Everyone enjoyed our biggest event of the year, the Via Ball, which featured a Hollywood theme complete with red carpet, search lights, paparazzi and a salute to the Oscars. In addition, the Ball generated more than $110,000, which will all go toward programming and help us navigate these uncertain economic times. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event so successful. For pictures of the evening's activities, please visit our Facebook Page!

Via Receives Funding for iPad Program;
20 iPads Purchased | |
|
Via's new iPad program has received a major boost: a Via West family's donation to purchase 20 iPad1s and iPad2s. The family's generosity has made it possible for us to integrate the electronic device into this summer's Via West sessions. After Via 's iPad workshop in early January, which drew 150 people, it was clear there was enormous interest from the special needs community to learn more about how this small device could help teach new skills. We now have two sessions scheduled on March 26th for the entire family; each family will have an iPad to work with. Unfortunately these three-hour sessions are fully booked but look for information on sessions in the future from Via.
