Greetings!
Following our highly
successful series of events in 2008 and 2009, the BVI Charitable Fund invites
you to Save The Date for the 2010 Virgin Islands Winemakers Dinners.
They will take place between December 1st and 7th.
Last
year, over 1,860 people attended the 8 sold out dinners, 14 lunches, and two
VIP Receptions, featuring 152 separate courses of food, and 168 different wines
that were paired with these courses at such interesting places as Necker
Island, Peter Island, Guana Island, Mooney Bay, Baraka Point, Frenchmans
Lookout, Giorgio's Table, and Golden Pavilion. World class chefs flew in to
prepare a gourmet multi-course
meal, each paired with two wines poured by the winemakers from Argentina,
France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain & California.
Each
of the 2010 dinners will feature five gourmet courses with each course prepared
by a master chef and paired with two wines poured by award winning winemakers.
The
net proceeds of the 2010 Winemakers Dinners will be distributed to the Food
& Beverage Management Program at H. Lavity Stoutt
Community College; Sailability BVI; BVI Special Olympics; the
swimming pool project of Virgin Gorda Charitable Company Ltd.; and YEP (Youth
Empowerment Project).
We
are excited about our new partnership with the Rotary Club Sunrise
of Road Town, the Rotary Club of Road Town, the YEP (Youth Empowerment Project) and the Food &
Beverage Management Program at H. Lavity Stoutt Community
