Greetings!
The P3 Leader newsletter continues to receive new subscriptions. For those who are new to the P3 Leader Newsletter, welcome. For our veteran newsletter readers, thank you for your continued interest. This month's article will address about program/project metrics, and will use the current U.S. unemployment rate as an example. I should first note that the term program will be used to include program and/or projects. We would like to hear from you. If you have not already responded to our reader survey, please take a few minutes to respond. A link to the survey is in this newsletter. We will publish the results in our April 2011 newsletter. You can also provide feedback through our blog (Hendon-group.com/blog), the Hendon Group Facebook page, or send an e-mail (blog@hendon-group.com). Hendon Group hopes that you and your family had a safe and happy Valentine's Day and President's Day holiday weekends! Until next month, may all of your programs and projects be successful. Ira M. Hendon, MBA, PMP® President and CEO Hendon Group, Inc.

Tip of the Month - Use communications plans to communicate with your leadership teams Communication plans are a great way to provide your program leadership team with current updates on planned communications activities for a program. Whether a large program or a small project, publishing when meetings will occur, when training sessions will take place, or when documents such as status meeting reports will be distributed, communications plans are a great way to make sure everyone is on the same page. If you do not have a formal process for publishing program communication plans, seek out someone who has done them before and ask if they would be willing to provide you some assistance.
