We all like the idea of a not having a transducer cable running up the trolling motor shaft to get pinched or twisted. but it has to work, I have used the US2 transducer since it came out and I trust its performance. I have had no problems with electricial noise on my boat using this transducer. This image is from the US2 and my Lowrance HDS 10 of suspended crappie.

I haven't tested it yet but I will next week at Chamberlain, SD while I help with the Scheels Fishing University. Scheels has this annual event to educate their employees on fishing products and they get classroom and on the water training.

I installed the LSS-2 transducers and will finish the wiring today.

I will put together a review and post it.  Chris Meyer from Lowrance has been testing it and he is impressed and Chris is not easily impressed. The main advantages are the wider range and crisper detail which will help for creating StructureMaps for fishing.

We have 12 entries for this contest on fish close to the bottom. I call them bump fish since they look like bumps on the bottom but can be fish. We have one entry that is running away with the early voting.
