Lowrance Elite DSI 2nd Impression
The Elite DSI performs better than I expected. I collected screenshots on my HDS and Elite DSI of the same targets taken simultaneously for comparison. I have heard reports the DSI doesn't work unless you are moving, these images prove otherwise. Take a look and make your own opinion.

Doctor Sonar website changes
www.doctorsonar.com has changed to allow easier access and better organization of the education. Some educational articles have been added.
Coming soon will be contests where you can post an images to be voted on. Examples: best DownScan image of fish in brush, best baitfish image, best sunken boat and whatever I can think of that will be interesting. The plan is to turn it into learning how to interpret sonar, DownScan and side scan. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. |
