Social enterprise (earned income) does just that. It is unrestricted renewable income that supports your mission. What's Involved in Learning Social Enterprise?  
 
Here's How Our Training Works
Agencies build a team of Board and Staff to participate in Expedition, a 6-9 month intensive hands on training program that will explore 7 basic modules and result in a business plan for earned income:
 
1. Organizational Focus: Mission and vision, goals, stakeholder communication.
2. Assets and Opportunities: Develop an inventory of your core competencies, technical and knowledge assets, physical and relationship assets. Brainstorm opportunities for earned income.
3. Market Research - The Customer: Get Up and Get Out to learn what motivates a buyer and end user, how to define target markets and more.
4. Market Research - The Competition: Define your competitive advantage.
5. Costing and Financing: Analyze all costs, set break even point, explore financing.
6. Sales Planning: Pricing, promotion, distribution, positioning, etc.
7. Business Planning: Pull it all together in a business plan.
