Parents took over Stuyvesant High School this week!
What with the Faculty Reception, two Parent - Teacher conference sessions and Open School Day, it may have looked that way! Great big thanks go to Faculty Reception Committee Chair Jean Laupus. Particular thanks go to Mark Heilemann whose bakery donated many delectable goods and to Gina Yan, Jenny Cho, Anna Lin, Julie Law, Ted Kang and Francois Attal for their immense support. There were many additional volunteers who helped with set up, serving and clean up. From the tasty dinner foods to the parent-donated 'delish' desserts, all was gratefully consumed by teachers and other staff members. Truly it was a wonderful effort, carried out by many, and greatly appreciated by Stuyvesant's hardworking staff.

The Executive Board of Stuyvesant's Parent Association hopes you had a chance to follow your student's shortened schedule this past Friday.
And for those who acquiesced when your kids said you would mortify them by attending Open School Day,
(you know who you are) your next chance is in March.
