Congratulations to everyone who won in last night's election -- we like to think that the whole student and parent body are the winners, with such dedicated people at the helm of the Parents Association.

Congratulations to the new Executive Board! 

 
Congratulations to everyone who ran and who was elected for the 2010-11 PA Executive Board.  Just so no one remains in suspense, our co-presidents are eager to share with you the names of next year's slate.
 

Uncontested offices:

First VP: Jenny Cho
Second VP: Bruce Hood
Treasurer: Bill Kaczmarek
Assistant Treasurer: Beth Bacon
Recording Secretary: Paul Bauer
Corresponding Secretary: Barbara Reiser
 

Contested Co-President election:

Alex Cai and Wai Wah Chin--138 votes (54%).  (The other team, of Monica Kaufmann Watt and Mary Wong, received119 votes (46%).)
 
 

Title 1 vote passes 

 
Additionally, the PA voted 211-11 to allocate the Title 1 funds school-wide rather than for targeted assistance.  Principal Stan Teitel has been informed and will share this decision with the Department of Education.
