Special Message From Stuyvesant Principal Stanley Teitel

Dear Parents:
Through the efforts of many parents and other school personnel, Stuyvesant has qualified for Federal Title I funding. In this time of difficult budgets this money could not have come to us at a more opportune moment.
In order to receive these funds it is necessary that public discussions be held with all constituencies, and that consensus be reached. A vote must be taken to insure that each constituency is consulted.
This discussion will occur at the Parent Association meeting on Tuesday,
May 25th. The vote will occur immediately after the meeting.
I urge you to please attend so your voice can be heard.
