Greetings!

We're just a couple of weeks away from the March 19 Lunar Feast, the PA's exciting annual banner fundraiser.  There is still time to donate online to the Lunar Dinner Raffle and Silent Auction and to purchase tickets -- as we note below, you can buy a whole table or two with other parents from your child's team or other activity!

If you have questions or ideas about the Lunar Feast, please contact LunarFeast2010@stuy-pa.org or one of the email addresses provided below.

Sincerely,

Florence Hutner
Corresponding Secretary

If you can send in a dessert for the reception, please have your students bring them on the day of the reception (March 18th) to the PA room (Room 271).

Lunar Feast and Auction Updates

Reminder: There has been a change in the restaurant that will be hosting our 7th annual Lunar New Year Dinner on Friday, March 19 at 6pm. The new location is the 88 Palace Restaurant (formerly Triple 8 restaurant; Chinese name: Yi Dong Restaurant) at 88 East Broadway, 2nd Floor, NY, NY 10002, 212-941-8886.  (Note: the restaurant is located in Chinatown, right underneath the Manhattan Bridge on East Broadway; a map with directions will be posted on the PA website).

Here's a great idea!  Why not buy tables at the Lunar Feast with other parents from your child's team or other after-school activity?  Thanks go to the Debate Team parents, who have already purchased two tables as a group -- talk to your kids' friends' parents and sign up!

DONATE LUNAR FEAST AUCTION ITEMS ON-LINE NOW!
We are pleased to announce the launching of the first Stuyvesant High School Online Auction and Donation Website. This will be run in conjunction with the 7th Annual Lunar Feast Dinner Gala. The website is now live and you can donate items now and over the next 2 weeks. To donate items or contribute money, go to:
www.biddingforgood.com/stuy-pa.  Bidding on items will start next Sunday, March 14, and all bidding will close on Sunday March 28 at 6pm.

We strongly encourage everyone to donate through the website. However, if that is not possible, donations can be dropped off at the office of Harvey Blumm, the wonderful Stuyvesant Parent Coordinator (Room 273 at Stuyvesant) or at the offices of Miriam Chan at 221 Canal Street, Room 303.  A donation form must accompany all items dropped off.  All Lunar Dinner Forms can be found at the Stuy PA website at:
