The monthly PA Bulletin is a great way to keep up with what is going on with our kids and in the school.  In this month's Bulletin, learn the latest -- the good and the bad -- on the recent proposed and actual education budget cuts and how they will affect Stuyvesant.  You can also get more information about the PA's big fundraiser, our 7th annual Lunar Feast.  Save the March 19th date to attend, and find out how to get involved and help the effort by volunteering to make the event happen.  It's easy to read the Bulletin online:  just click on the link below.  And if you need a hard copy, feel free to email me your name and address to stay on the mailing list.  Keep in touch!

Parent volunteers are needed at this annual event for students accepted to next year's incoming freshman class.  To assist, contact Stuyvesant Parent Coordinator Harvey Blumm at hblumm@stuy.edu .

Discount ice-skating in Battery Park City
A temporary rink has opened two blocks from Stuy in Battery Park City and will be there until February 15.  The operator has offered to give students a discount on school days between 3-6pm:  $7 admission and $9 admission plus skate rental.  (The prices are normally $10 and $13 respectively.)  What a great way for the kids to unwind and have fun!
