This year we have been so thankful for YOU - our Arvada Chamber Members. We are thankful for the energy and the synergy you have with us in our organization. Our success is because you are so fabulous!
Enjoy the holidays! We are going to give you a bit of a break as far as educational events and seminars in December. There will be no Membership Luncheon nor will there be a 3rd Friday Breakfast.
What we WILL HAVE is a fantastic holiday Business After Hours over at Rocky Mountain Gems in Olde Town (details below in the Event Calendar). Last year their staff sang Christmas carols to us! There will be live music. This one is always a favorite. Don't miss it.

 Wednesday, November 30th 5:00 - 7:00pm at The Hideout above Red Jack's Saloon, 5707 Olde Wadsworth Boulevard in Arvada. This event is open to ALL Young Professionals across the state of Colorado. You do not have to be a member of the AYP. This event is FREE! We'll have appetizers and a cash bar.
COLORADO GIVES DAY
Tuesday, December 6th 5:30pm - 7:00pm at Arvada Beer Company, 5600 Olde Wadsworth Boulevard in Olde Town. The Organizations Serving Arvada are coming together to put on one big event where you can go in and give, have a few appetizers and buy a beer. Lagniappe starts at 6:00pm in Olde Town Square, so you can drop by and give before or after the lighting of the tree.
A GRISWOLD CHRISTMAS - AN AYP EVENT
All Young Professionals across Colorado are welcome. You don't need to be a member of the AYP.
Thursday, December 8th 5:00 - 8:00pm at Breadwinners Catering, 7311 Grandview Avenue in Olde Town Arvada. Come dressed in your favorite Griswold attire! Friday, January 20th 6:00 - 9:00pm at the Arvada Center. This year's theme: James Bond | 007. The Annual Dinner is my personal favorite of all the events that we do here at the Chamber.  HARLEM AMBASSADORS
Friday, March 9th 7:00pm at Arvada West High School. Come and watch the Harlem Globetrotter Ambassadors play against YOUR Arvada All Stars. The team we are going to put up against them include your police chief, fire chief, your mayor and city manager, your school superintendent, a rep from Apex, Arvada Colts, AEDA and AURA... oh yeah... and your Chamber president. We also invited the coaches of the mens and womens basketball teams from Arvada high schools to play with us as well. This is going to be fun for the WHOLE FAMILY! Tickets are $10 per person in advance, $12 at the door. You can pick up your tickets at the Chamber anytime!

The Arvada Business Zone
The Arvada Business Zone is brought to you by Arvada Chamber of Commerce and Marketing Huddle. We decided to launch a radio show to bring this to life by interviewing Arvada Chamber of Commerce members about their business and how it started, along with all the frequently asked questions they get from customers just like you!
This will be a fun & informative format where you will be able to learn much more about the business than just the few words you'd see in an advertisement!
Also, you will be able to learn from Arvada Leadership about the direction Arvada is moving, and be able to share your ideas as well.

Committee Meetings
Joining a committee is a great way to get involved and take a leadership role in the Arvada Chamber of Commerce. If you, or someone in your organization, is interested in being involved in one of these committees, add us to your calendar. These committees meet once a month for about an hour.
 The next Government Affairs Committee meeting will be held on Friday, December 1st at 10:00am at the Arvada Chamber of Commerce. The Government Affairs Committee of the Arvada Chamber of Commerce is comprised of representatives from a diverse mixture of Chamber members, who review proposed ordinances, statutes and regulations to evaluate their potential impact on members of the Chamber. The Committee recommends support or opposition of these to the Chamber Board of Directors.
The next Arvada Young Professionals meeting will be held on Thursday, January 12th at 10:00AM at Personal Benefit Services Wealth Management. Personal Benefit Services is located at 5620 Ward Road, Suite 100 in Arvada. The Arvada Young Professional Group (AYP) is a meaningful networking organization of talented, up-an-coming young professionals who are dedicated to building a better Arvada. We are made up of motivated, energetic young professionals certain to become Arvada's future leaders. Our primary purpose is to sponsor, promote, and support social activities involving members of the Arvada business community. AYP offers its members a way to link their personal passions with professional ambitions.  The next Member Retention Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 13th at 10:00AM at the Chamber. The Membership Retention Committee will work with members to encourage participation in current chamber activities and develop new opportunities to be involved. Businesses that are involved are more likely to be successful. |

32nd Annual Holiday Craft Fair - Friday and Saturday, November 25 and 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Arvada Center located at 6901 Wadsworth Blvd. Admission is $7 at the door, $5 if purchased online at arvadacenter.org, and free to Friends of the Center sponsors.
