The K9 Body Shop specializes in treating canines and felines recovering from injuries or surgeries, the geriatric dog who is suffering from mobility or pain issues, the working dog or canine athlete looking to achieve peak performance levels, or the overweight canine looking to shed a few pounds.

It is our mission to bring educated, experienced, qualified professional physical rehabilitation to the animal world; improving the quality of life and positive psychological effects for pets and their owners.
Tammy Wolfe, PT, CFP, CCRPTammy Wolfe, owner and operator of The K9 Body Shop, PC is a native of Indiana and graduated from Indiana University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She has 24 years of experience in the human physical therapy profession, specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine.

In 1999, Tammy completed a 4 year certification and became a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner®. This training in Functional Integration® manual techniques has laid an important foundation in building upon her effective canine treatment skills.
From 1999 until 2003, Tammy owned a private physical therapy clinic in Northglenn, Colorado. She began working with canines at Huron Animal Hospital in 2002. In February of 2003, she joined the rehabilitation team at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. She was certified in canine rehabilitation by the University of Tennessee in their second graduating class in December 2003. Tammy is currently working towards her Doctorate in Physical Therapy(DPT) from Arcadia University and is on track to finish it by December, 2011

Tammy's extensive experience and continuing education has allowed her to draw on her knowledge of human physical therapy concepts and become one of the trailblazers in the field of animal physical therapy. Tammy consistently conducts research and case studies to promote a scientifically based practice and to continue to be on the cutting edge of animal physical therapy techniques. Because of her experience and reputation, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Veterinarians worldwide come to intern with her.
The K9 Body Shop offers customized treatment programs to meet the needs of every individual patient with single or multiple diagnosis and challenges. This customized treatment program also includes client education in the plan of care and a written, in home care program for the patient's optimum recovery and maintenance.
The K9 Body Shop operates the Physical Therapy Department at the VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Southeast Denver; the Huron Animal Hospital in Thornton; Farmers Korner Veterinary Hospital in Breckinridge; and Breckinridge Animal Clinic in Breckenridge. We are also available for Webcam consultation throughout the world.
