Committee Meetings
Joining a committee is a great way to get involved and take a leadership role in the Arvada Chamber of Commerce. If you, or someone in your organization, is interested in being involved in one of these committees, add us to your calendar. These committees meet once a month for about an hour.
 The next Government Affairs Committee meeting will be held on Friday, April 1st at 10:00AM at the Chamber. The Government Affairs Committee of the Arvada Chamber of Commerce is comprised of representatives from a diverse mixture of Chamber members, who review proposed ordinances, statutes and regulations to evaluate their potential impact on members of the Chamber. The Committee recommends support or opposition of these to the Chamber Board of Directors.
 The next Arvada Young Professionals meeting will be held on Thursday, April 14th at 10:00AM at the Chamber. The Arvada Young Professional Group (AYP) is a meaningful networking organization of talented, up-an-coming young professionals who are dedicated to building a better Arvada. We are made up of motivated, energetic young professionals certain to become Arvada's future leaders. Our primary purpose is to sponsor, promote, and support social activities involving members of the Arvada business community. AYP offers its members a way to link their personal passions with professional ambitions.
 The next Member Retention Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 12th at 10:00AM at the Chamber. The Membership Retention Committee will work with members to encourage participation in current chamber activities and develop new opportunities to be involved. Businesses that are involved are more likely to be successful. |

KNOCK OUT! MARCH 21, 2011 7:00PM
Are you ready to be part of the biggest game of KNOCKOUT in Pepsi Center history?
Would you like a chance to win a suite to the Denver Nuggets vs. Golden St. Warriors game on Monday, April 11th?
Who: Anyone 14 and older who has a ticket to the March 21st Nuggets vs. Raptors game that was purchased through the discounted group ticket offer below.
When: The KNOCKOUT game will take place following the Nuggets game (allow approximately 45 minutes for court to be cleared).
Where: Once the Nuggets game is finished, please take a seat in section 102 or 104 and wait for further instructions.
What: The game of KNOCKOUT is very simple. The game begins with everyone getting in line. The first player in line will shoot a basketball from the free throw line. If that player misses their shot, they can run after the ball and attempt to make the basket from a closer distance. However, if the second person in line makes their basket before the first player makes theirs, he/she is "knocked out."
*The location of where the players are shooting the ball from may be changed at any time at the discretion of the Denver Nuggets Sales staff.
Why: The winner of KNOCKOUT will receive a suite to the Monday, April 11th game vs. the Golden St. Warriors!
