FoxFish Photography was born of just those kinds of little things -- how tiny my newborn daughter's hands and feet were.  My grandparents holding hands without even realizing they had reached for each other.  Our high school senior neighbor and her friends inviting my coordination-challenged preschooler to join in their backyard volleyball game.  Missing teeth, newborn dimples, spontaneous tickle fights, sparkly shoes, and all those "in between" moments where the beauty of who we are and who we love truly shines.

Now in our 6th year and in a beautiful new studio space on Ward Road, FoxFish Photography specializes not only in babies, kids, families and high school seniors, but more importantly in personalities and relationships.  Owner Michelle Pesce offers a unique blend of lifestyle portrait artistry and a fun, playful experience that lets people relax, enjoy and just be themselves.  It's not uncommon to find Michelle down on her belly in the grass, wedged up in the branches of a tree, or jumping up and down like a lunatic, all in the course of a single session.  Her background in graphic design coupled with all the recent product innovations in the photography industry also allow her to create truly one-of-a-kind art pieces from her images.

Our fully-equipped studio not only offers a variety of textured and colorful backdrops, but also features a custom-painted graffiti wall created by local "aerosol artist" Robin Munroe.  Favorite outdoor portrait locations range from gritty, graffiti-covered Denver alleyways and the urban charm of Olde Town Arvada, to the majesty of Red Rocks and the quiet beauty of her clients' own homes.  New for 2011, we will also offer photography classes for all skill levels starting in January.

Sessions are by appointment only, and we will guide you through the whole process from the initial consultation and planning meeting to the presentation of your images in a gorgeous slide show set to music.  We feel incredibly blessed to be a part of the lives we touch, and are proud to say that most of our subjects are now more than clients.... they are friends.
