Animal Urgent Care 7851 Indiana Street Arvada, CO 80007 303-420-7387 www.aucvet.com
Animal Urgent Care is a small emergency veterinary clinic located on Indiana Street in Arvada. We have been treating patients here for three years, and have established a warm relationship with clients and regular veterinarians in the area. Our clinic has the feel of an older country veterinary office, but with all of the modern equipment and medicine that you would expect to have available at a brand new facility. Clients frequently comment on the comfortable atmosphere and our attention to customer service. Every staff memberat Animal Urgent Care, from Technician Assistants to Doctors, is dedicated to making your pet's visit here as stress-free and smooth as possible.
We realize that health care for both humans and pets can be a financial burden, especially in trying economic times. Keeping that in mind, we do everything we can to keep our overhead low, and we truly do pass on the savings to our clients. Our facility provides the most affordable after-hours care in the area. However, we are still completely equipped with everything necessary to treat even the most critical cases. Our clinic houses a full lab for on-site blood work, a surgical suite, an x-ray room, isolation ward, and a full treatment area with an oxygen cage. All of our cage banks have optional heated floors for post-operative patients' comfort.
Dr. Liz O'Rourke is the owner of Animal Urgent Care, and the doctor you are most likely to encounter if your pet ever needs to come in after-hours. She has been working in the veterinary field for nearly twenty years, and emergency and critical care for fifteen years. Dr. O'Rourke graduated from CSU, and enjoys having her practice in Colorado. She feels that the "challenges and rewards keep work exciting every single day. We are like a human ER; you just never know what is coming in next."
If you find yourself in need of after-hours or emergency care, or if you would like to be prepared in case of an emergency, come visit us at 7851 Indiana Street in Arvada. We are also happy to answer questions over the phone if you are unsure of whether or not you need to have your pet seen by a doctor immediately. Our hours are 5pm-8am Monday-Friday, and 24 hours on weekend and holidays. The staff can be reached at 303-420-7387, and additional information is located at www.aucvet.com. Thank you for three successful years, Arvada!
