Gail Fischer, owner and operator of Gail Fischer Designs, has been assisting homeowners in the greater Denver and Mountain area for nineteen years. The firm recently relocated from Evergreen to Arvada and added Laurel Schulz, Gail's daughter, as a business partner. Together Gail and Laurel make a dynamic team offering clients a wide array of new possibilities. Gail began her design career as an accredited flower show judge and then moved onto landscape, interior and home design. Her extensive design experience makes Gail an asset to any project from large remodel to simple draperies or furniture placement. Laurel brings her own assets to the business with a Bachelors of Fine Art and as a professional artist. Laurel can provide clients with beautiful paint finishes and custom artwork to compliment any space. Gail explains that for her firm design is not about the designer's style and preferences. On the contrary, Gail Fischer Designs works with clients to find the individual style of the homeowner and utilizes the elements and principles of design to create a personalized environment. In addition to working with individuals Gail Fischer Designs specializes in working with couples blending personal styles while remaining mindful of the functionality of spaces. Hiring a professional designer will not only result in a polished cohesive environment but can ultimately save you money in the end! Gail explains that while many homeowners have ideas of what styles they prefer they often make costly mistakes purchasing illfitting furniture, sale items, or impulse buys. Worse yet is the renovation project gone wrong due to an inexperienced remodeler. A recent article in the Denver Post advised readers. "Call a designer first. Going straight to a contractor before talking to an interior designer is like bypassing your family doctor and heading straight for the surgeon. You may miss a simpler cheaper, less painful solution." In addition to experience, design firms also have access to hundreds of resources not available in the standard retail market. Working with Gail Fischer Designs you can feel assured the final result will be a harmonious space for your home or business tailored to fit your individual budget and needs.
