FREE INCOME TAX PREPERATION - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is available at Sooper Credit Union, 5005 W 60th Ave, Arvada on Saturdays 8AM - Noon, February 6 - April 10.Call 800-829-1040 to see if you qualify for FREE Income Tax Preperation. March 1st - 31st - Regis University will host a traveling exhibit from the Hiroshima Peace Museum in the Dayton Memorial Library. Among the items displayed will be 27 drawings created by A-bomb survivors as part of a project that began in 1974; A People's Pictorial Record of the Atomic Bombing. Kite Building for Kids - The Arvada Festivals Commission and Foothills Kite Club have scheduled four days of kite making classes. Each class is $3.50 per child and includes all the materials. Register by calling the Majestic View Nature Center at 720-898-7405.
