Work has begun on the long awaited renovation of the Wellspring Building located at 8333 Ralston Road. The building is being converted into a modern southwestern style and the project should take about six months.  Since 2002, the building has been owned by Dr. John Slizeski and his wife, Lea Ann.  Dr. John, a chiropractor, has been in practice, in Arvada, for over thirty years. The Colorado Chiropractic Association elected him "Outstanding Young Chiropractor of the Year" in 1983 and "Chiropractor of the Year" in 1985.  In 1988, he was elected into the Fellowship of the International College of Chiropractors.  For the past 15 years, Dr. John has included Functional Medicine in his practice which involves a variety of laboratory testing and nutritional consultation.  Since 1999, he has presented numerous lectures on a variety of health related topics.  Twice a year, he presents his "Wellness Academy" which involves a comprehensive review of many of the different body systems.  His next Academy class will start on March 31st.

Over a six week period of time, the Wellness Academy progresses through four sessions (7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.) that will be held on alternating Wednesdays at the Wellspring Building.  The course is continuous and each session leads into the next one.  Pre-registration is required.  The cost for the entire course is $125.00
